Продолжение путешествия или еще немного Шанхая

Немного устав от многонаселенного Шанхая, постоянно кричащих китайцев, гудящих машин, суматохи и величественных небоскребов, мы решили отдохнуть от творений гениальных человеческих рук и… отправиться к творениям более совершенным. Поближе к природе.
Но сначала о том, как мы провели эти суматошные дни (которые, увы, не оставляли нам возможности писать о своем путешествии!).

Сначала перевод часов дал о себе знать, и когда (написав свой первый отчет) я ложилась спать в 5.30 утра, я еще верила, что мы встанем около 11-12 часов и продолжим наши путешествия, но в итоге нам удалось встать только в районе 5 часов. Но в этом тоже есть свои плюсы: мы выспались после долгой дороги, набрались и сэкономили на еде и передвижениях в этот день :)
После мы все же вышли на улицу, чтобы осуществить давно намеченную цель:  купить местную сим-карту. Нам сказали что тарифы дешевые и нам вполне хватит карты на 50 юаней, найти которую оказалось не так легко! Чудом мы отыскали ее в переходе у перекупщика-китайца, который с радостью сказал нам Hello!, но на этом его радость подошла к концу, так как вместо предложенных 100 юаней, мы купили ее за 50, а потом мы никак не верили ему что аналогичная сумма лежит на счету. Все ближайшие продавцы пытались блеснуть своими знаниями английского и понять что же мы хотим узнать, после чего мы позвонили нашей подруге русско говорящей китаянке, и состоялся 10-ти (!!!) минутный разговор. Казалось бы нам нужно было просто узнать баланс карты! Было ощущение что они рассказали друг другу пол жизни! В итоге нам пришлось поверить ему на слово, так как баланс-то узнать можно, но только позвонив по специальному номеру где говорят на китайском (позже мы узнали что и английское меню там все же имеется).

Все китайцы, включая уборщиков, пользуются смартфонами, причем повсеместно. В метро не увидишь человека с книжкой или еще чем-то. Телефоны везде…

Не смотря на то, что мы приобрели новых знакомых на прекрасном коуч-серфинге, мы решили следующую ночь так же переночевать в отеле, а дальше уже решить.

  6. I saw Lovelace Watkins the show was televised and he kept having to stop and start again because things went wrong with the cameras. After he came out and did a «proper show». I saw Jack Jones and got his autograph twice. Tuesday night was ladies night I think it was 10p to get in. Chicken in a basket was the thing to eat. Campari and Soda was the thing to drink in the nightclub downstairs after the show it tasted horrible. the club was in hysterics people were p g themselves with laughter he didn’t even try to do an act but brought the house down a proper comedian he was.I also saw Dorothy Squires she was brilliant my brother in law rushed to the front of the stage and gave her the flowers he had bought for his wife as it was there anniversary that also brought the house down when he got home. I wasn too bothered myself, more of a Bowie fan, but my girlfriend was fond of him, and I was hoping to impress her, and maybe earn a fewThe Saturday before, I was watching the wrestling on World of Sport, and during the adverts an announcement from The Fiesta, came on. Due to a throat infection, Tony had to cancel, but at the last minute Norman Wisdom had stepped.When Norman stepped out on stage, his cap off to a jaunty angle and tripping over his own feet, my girlfriend was scowling but I was nearly on the floor I laughed so hard. As the evening progressed, there was lots of Grimsdsales and other Pitkin classic lines. I never stopped. My jaws hurt from constantly hooting, and my partner mood got darker and darkerAt the end of the evening, as we walked towards our taxi in Fitzalan Square, she stepped ahead, got in, and pulled the door closed behind her, leaving me slack jawed and staring as the cab pulled away :confused:i worked at the fiesta , first in the restraunt,as a waitress, but the money and tips were better on mini meals[chips and scampi/fish/burger in a basket served at your table] so i switched.the names i remember are magaret who cooked the burgers, margaret who spoke fluent french,and made some of the uniforms we wore, pamelia,she had very long blond hair and lived at handsworth,the first uniform i had was a black leotard,with a lilac wrapround «skirt» with fishnet tights and patent high heels, we had yellow gingham with big bows on the back, and in our hair. red with white fur trim christmas dresses and white boots.i saw gadys night and the pips, gene pitney,cannon and ball who were excellent the best double act ive ever seen. kid creole and the coconuts, tommy cooper,who was very rude to his fans, in fact abusive would be a better description. the spinners who kept me serving them till 3.30am in the morning running me ragged and never even said thankyou never mind leave a tip. i should have finished at 1.30amtoo many names to remember, some more famous now than then.when we signed off we used to get changed and go into the downstairs bar, or the small disco , they shut at 2 so we didnt have long, buy we had a dance and a laugh.then we waited for staff taxis, every taxi had to be full, so if you lived out of the way you might go all round sheffield before you got home.happy days. i was in my early 20 s had 3 kids and no money, so to me it was my social life as well as my job. i loved itoh the old fiesta i have many memory’s of those days we went quite regularly in those days the first act i saw and i think she was either the first or second act to play there and that was Claudia Rodgers don’t think thats how it, i saw tommy cooper he was hilarious he came on stage Land on a bed for must have been 5 minutes the audiance was roaring with laughter for ages before he got on with his act, another act was a guy called lovelace watkins, and his gig was being recorded bt the bbc, what was a 1 hour show took the best part of 3, he’d get pat of the way through make a mistake and had to change his stirt several time because they did’nt want sweat marks on it the show had to start again from the begining.锘縁IFA investigator Michael Garcia clasping at Mulberry bags over England’s World Cup 2018 bid
